Ordering & Replenishment

Overview

The Ordering & Replenishment feature uses AI-powered image recognition to monitor cooler and freezer inventory and automatically generate order recommendations — helping ensure your outlets stay consistently stocked with minimal manual effort.

How it works, at a glance:

Image captured → Product recognition → Stock level detected → Order recommendation generated → Sent to Inbox / Scheduled Orders

Every order recommendation is based on your assortment plan (Planogram), your configured settings, and the replenishment model selected for your account.

Replenishment models

Your account can be configured to use the replenishment model that best fits your operational needs. Models 1–4 are AI/image-based; Model 5 is a Planogram-based safeguard.

Model 1 — As per Planogram

Uses your planned assortment and detected stock levels to recommend replenishment for each product. This is the most straightforward model and works well for simple, fixed assortments.

Good to know: This model focuses on restoring the planned assortment. If you'd prefer replenishment to account for broader space and assortment conditions, Models 2–4 offer that flexibility.

Model 2 — Highest Quantity Product

Uses a space-aware ordering approach designed to favor key assortment items when available shelf space is limited.

Model 3 — Prioritize Shelves

Uses a shelf-priority ordering approach to align replenishment recommendations with merchandising goals across the cabinet.

Model 4 — Extended Assortment

Supports approved products outside the core assortment while still preserving the intended assortment structure. This model is ideal for outlets that stock a flexible or rotating product mix alongside a core planogram.

Model 5 — Predefined Fallback Order

Ensures your outlets continue receiving stock even in situations where Models 1–4 are temporarily unable to generate a recommendation — for example, due to a missed image capture or a temporary connectivity issue.

How it works:

  • If standard replenishment is temporarily unavailable and your outlet is configured for fallback ordering, the system automatically creates an order based on your assigned Planogram and pre-agreed replenishment quantities.
  • These orders are clearly labeled as Fallback Orders, so they're always distinguishable from standard AI-generated orders in your reporting.
  • Fallback Orders follow the same review and scheduling process as any other order — nothing changes on your end.

Why it matters:

  • Keeps your outlets stocked even during temporary technical disruptions.
  • Reduces the risk of lost sales from missed replenishment cycles.
  • Requires no manual intervention on your part.

Order review and scheduling

All order recommendations — whether from Models 1–4 or Model 5 — follow the same review workflow:

  • Inbox — newly generated recommendations awaiting review.
  • Scheduled Orders — orders confirmed and ready for fulfillment.
  • In Transit — orders currently being fulfilled.
  • Order History — a complete historical record of past orders and their status.
