Device not in scan

Isolate the cause: device or mobile app

Bluetooth scanning requires the mobile phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Before troubleshooting the device, complete these steps:

  1. Close the Coolr mobile app
  2. Turn Bluetooth off and back on
  3. Reopen the Coolr app
  4. Scan again. If available, test if other VistaZ devices appear in the scan

If only one device is missing from the scan, it's likely a device issue related to manufacturing or transportation. The SIM may be dislodged or battery connectors may be misaligned. Troubleshoot first to avoid replacement logistics.

Device debugging

  1. Obtain required tools
  2. Follow the battery dislodge re-seating procedure
  3. Verify the power switch is in the ON position (move to the right)
  4. Verify the SIM is fully inserted
  5. Scan again
  6. Close the device lid

If the device still does not appear, contact support for replacement.
